Recyclable corrugated boards, boxes, duplex and wax-coated cartons — 600 tonnes a month from our 25,000 sq.ft plant at KINFRA, Kanjikode, Palakkad.
Who we are
Kapstone Industries Private Limited was formed in February 2015 to manufacture corrugated paper packaging at KINFRA, Kanjikode. Everything we quote is made on our own floor — boards, boxes, duplex boxes and wax-coated boxes.
Raw material is bought from established mills. Paper runs from 100 to 250 GSM across virgin, semi-virgin and duplex grades, and every lot is checked in our own lab before it reaches a customer.
What we make
From plain 3-ply shippers to printed, die-cut and wax-coated cartons. Sizes and specs are made to your drawing.

Corrugated is one of the few packaging materials that genuinely closes the loop. What we ship out can be collected, pulped and made into board again — which is why paper-based transit packing keeps gaining ground on plastic.
Recyclable and biodegradable by construction. Recycled grades already make up around 70% of what India consumes, and our board goes back into the same stream.
Bursting strength and compression checked in our own lab. Right-specced board means fewer damaged consignments and less material wasted on over-packing.
Ethical dealing, transparent rates, and a safe, hygienic shop floor. Local manufacture also means shorter hauls and less freight spent moving empty cartons.
Plant & machinery
Corrugation, printing, slotting, punching, gluing and stitching all run in-house, so a job doesn't leave the premises until it's finished.
Automatic 3-ply and 5-ply corrugation with in-line take-up.
Two-colour flexo printer slotter, computerised, with hydraulic stacker.
Wax coating and surface finishing for moisture-resistant cartons.
Quality
We keep an in-house laboratory so paper and finished board are checked on site rather than taken on trust. Strict quality standards and a clean, safe shop floor are part of the same discipline.
Incoming paper is verified for GSM against the mill's declared substance. Finished board is checked for bursting strength before despatch, and box compression testing is being commissioned.
If a consignment needs test certificates alongside it, tell us at the order stage and we'll include them.
Who we supply
Our cartons go out to established manufacturers and exporters in the sectors below, backed by our own delivery fleet for prompt despatch. Client references available on request.

The industry
Corrugated paper began as a stiffener inside Victorian top hats. Someone worked out that the same fluted sheet could absorb a knock, and within a few decades it had replaced the wooden crate almost everywhere.
Fluted paper is patented in England — as a liner for tall hats.
Albert Jones patents corrugated sheet in New York for wrapping bottles in transit.
Oliver Long glues liner sheets to both faces. That sandwich is still the board we make today.
Machine-made pre-cut blanks arrive. The shipping crate starts losing to the box.
Kapstone begins corrugating at KINFRA, Kanjikode.
A hundred and fifty years on, the sandwich hasn't changed. The demand has.
Analysts size India's corrugated packaging market in the region of USD 9–14 billion and expect high single-digit annual growth into the 2030s — carried by e-commerce, quick commerce, organised retail and food processing.
Corrugated is recyclable and biodegradable, and recycled grades already account for roughly 70% of what India consumes. As plastic packaging comes under pressure, paper-based transit packing is where the volume moves.
Spices and extracts, seafood, electricals, plantation produce and consumer goods all ship out of this state in boxes. Making them locally means shorter lead times and freight that isn't spent hauling empty cartons across India.
It's a good industry to be in, and a demanding one — which is why we've kept investing in automatic machinery, a testing lab and people who know the difference a 20 GSM change makes.
